The Canadian group walk Off the Earth is quite particular with guys who are able to play at 5 on the same guitar. Here they are on the cover of ”Somebody that I used to know” by Gotye. The Walk Off the Earth are exploding their popularity status on YouTube with a video of 5 of them on a guitar, making more than 25 million of views in less than 5 weeks a success that made them well-known.

Bar chords. Even if it's just mtsurming with just the one finger down, it really pays to get used to the feeling.Also, use your ring finger and pinkie. If you don't get into the habit, now, it'll be way harder later on. A good exercise is playing first finger, first fret, middle finger/second, ring/third, pinkie/fourth, ring/third, middle/second, first/first, and then on the next string. It really builds up the speed, strength, dexterity, and accuracy of your fretting.Good luck, and have fun!Remember that it's when it gets hard or boring that you should play the most. Once you get past that stage, playing the guitar is more fun than I can even describe.
